German is one of the “world languages.” It is an official language in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland; and is also spoken by minority groups in several other countries. The international importance of the German language is ever increasing. So much so, that more and more Thai schools and universities are offering German language curriculums. Also, an increasing number of Thais are choosing to go to Germany, Austria and Switzerland as tourists, to work, or especially to study in their recognized, high-quality educational systems. This is compounded by the presence of many prominent German companies in Thailand.
How attractive would you be to one of these international companies if you could already speak German?
